Did you know there is a different sales funnel for each marketing strategy you use? Whether you’re using PPC, AdWords, Free traffic, SEO, etc. you should be using different funnels for each.

Today we’re going to cover what sales funnel works best for social media marketing. Now, when I say social media I am mostly referring to Facebook because I have found that platform to be the most effective. However, this funnel can work for any social media platform.

This is going to be a short and brief post put it’s jammed packed with incredible information.

Ready? Let’s go!

AIDA Funnel

This is the funnel model we’re going to use because it’s the base of almost all marketing funnels. No matter where you look online, most marketers are using this model or some sort of variation of it.

Now let’s look into each of these parts and see how they are going to reflect on your social media marketing.

Attention

You’re going to gain attention about your business or brand by your posts or ads on social media. This is where people are going to learn that you even exist. Your posts need to relate to your audience and make them stop swiping.

Interest

The content on your website will create interest in your prospects mind. When you’re social media marketing you need to remember hat the ultimate goal is to direct traffic towards your website, not just a social media follow. However, this is not where they’ll get your “best” content.

Desire

After a prospect was consumed the content on your website, if your content was valuable, they’ll want more. This is where you urge them to opt into your email list. The content you provide over email should be better than the content on your website and provide even more value.

Action

You probably already know what this section means but I’d like to say something that all types of business can use. Action can mean a whole more than a sale. Action can mean a phone call, an appointment, anything you need it to mean based on your businesses needs. But in most cases, at least in social media marketing, action will mean a sale.

Things to remember

After a prospect has completed your funnel, whether they purchased or not, you need to continue to market to them. Just because someone didn’t purchase one product doesn’t mean they won’t purchase a different product.

Also, in means of your social media posts, your posts need to always be related to either your business itself or something related to your industry. People didn’t follow your business account to hear what type of coffee you drank this morning.
